As Chief Executive Officer, Kevin provides strategic direction and tactical guidance to Keane’s team of unclaimed property experts. Kevin previously served as Keane’s Chief Financial Officer since 2014.
While serving as Chief Financial Officer, Kevin provided executive leadership for Keane’s consulting and reporting lines of business in addition to Keane’s corporate finance and accounting departments. In this role, Kevin was instrumental in improving operational efficiency through the use of automation and data analysis.
Kevin works to automate wherever possible and develop the reporting capabilities to understand the business at a deeper level on a regular basis. He is an experienced manager with an acute understanding and passion for technology.
Prior to joining Keane, Kevin worked as a consultant serving middle-market private equity firms. He worked on acquisitions as small as a $5 million add-on and as large as a $100 million carve-out.
The engagements primarily focused on beginning to build a finance infrastructure that would support the private equity firm’s needs post-acquisition. This involved helping to define the organizational structure, building a monthly close process, developing analytical reporting capabilities, and sometimes assisting in the search for a full-time CFO.
Kevin also was involved in an energy startup were he first served as a consultant, and was then later hired to lead the company’s financial planning and analysis group. This startup began in late 2007 and was ultimately sold to NRG in mid-2011 for $190 million.
Kevin holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Cabrini College, and a Masters of Business Administration from Carnegie Mellon University.
