The road to implement an Ontario Unclaimed Property program has had its share of ups and downs as Government officials and property holders have developed various plans to establish a provincial escheatment program. Although the province has not officially passed any policies, the Ontario government has made tremendous efforts to develop a program that is reflective of both the government and holders needs.
