Keane Hires Former Manager of Audits from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

Moore, CPA, CIA, CFE, will be joining the company as a Senior Manager in the Unclaimed Property Consulting and Advisory Services Group.

Having served in various leadership and compliance roles throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for the past 20 years, Ms. Moore brings extensive and diverse expertise to Keane’s consulting practice. Ms. Moore’s background is comprised of unique expertise in providing guidance and technical analysis for the Bureaus of Unclaimed Property, Comptroller Operations, and Change Management, including fraud prevention studies, internal risk evaluations, efficiency and effectiveness studies, audit reviews, and evaluation and approval of voluntary disclosure documents on behalf of companies seeking to become compliant with the Pennsylvania Unclaimed Property Act.

In addition to her role as state auditor, Ms. Moore developed and led “Unclaimed Property Compliance through the Eyes of the Holder,” training for unclaimed property professionals seeking to further their understanding of unclaimed property as it exists at the business level. Ms. Moore has also conducted numerous training events entitled “What to Expect and How to Prepare for an Unclaimed Property Audit” for businesses needing to comply with Pennsylvania’s laws.

Ms. Moore’s previous roles include serving as Division Chief for the Pennsylvania Treasury Department’s Office of the Comptroller. She began her career as a field auditor in the Bureau of Municipal Pensions, Pennsylvania Department of the Auditor General. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from De Sales University, where she graduated Cum Laude.

Additionally, Moore is an active member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, the Institute of Internal Auditors, and the Association of Government Accountants, where she is currently the Membership Chair for Central Pennsylvania Chapter.
